Overview

Selling EU-made supplements under your brand in Uzbekistan

To sell a food supplement under your own brand in Uzbekistan, your importer needs a permit from the Ministry of Health, reviewed in 10 working days, with laboratory conclusions from Uzbekistan in the file; the Ministry checks the trademark when it issues the permit. Pharma Manufacture, in Mārupe, Latvia, EU, manufactures the product from 150 units and supplies the manufacturer’s documents for the application.

Your importer files the application and holds the permit. Pharma Manufacture makes the product, prepares the label artwork with you and provides the factory’s documents. Our team works in English and Russian.

In Uzbek, food supplements are biologik faol qoʻshimchalar (BFQ); the Russian abbreviation BAD is used alongside it. Uzbekistan is not a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, and the Uzbek permit is a separate procedure from the Kazakh registration.

In Russian, shoppers in Tashkent search most often for American, Korean, Turkish and Japanese vitamins. European and German vitamins are searched for too, but less: “европейские витамины ташкент” and “немецкие витамины ташкент” (European, German vitamins Tashkent) return 1 to 3 suggestions each (“купить”, buy; “цена”, price), and “витамины из германии в ташкенте” (vitamins from Germany in Tashkent) is among the suggestions.

No Uzbek or Russian query for contract manufacturing or private label in Uzbekistan appears; “private label” returns English variants only. No monthly supplement sales figures for Uzbekistan were found in the sources checked, so seasonal planning rests on your importer’s own sales history.
