How it is made

From raw material to finished supplement

Before the manufacturing, all raw materials are sampled and tested in the laboratory to ensure they meet specifications. The manufacturing process of the food supplements begins with ingredient weighing and sieving. Once all ingredients are prepared, the powder is transferred to the mixing room, where it is blended using V-Type Mixers. If the product contains multiple active ingredients, they may be mixed separately before being combined. For the softgels, the shell ingredients (gelatin, glycerin, water) and fill ingredients are blended separately. During the mixing process, samples are taken to check whether the product is properly mixed. The blending process may include additional filtration steps. Once mixing is complete, the mixture is transferred to the tablet pressing room or the encapsulation workshop.

Magnesium + B6 vitamin tablets

Magnesium + B6 vitamin. Food supplement. Magnesium and vitamin B6 source. Magnesium and Vitamin B6 contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, it helps to reduce fatigue and weakness. B6 vitamin: contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism; promotes normal immune function; promotes hormone regulation. Where are your tablets and capsules manufactured?

All tablets, capsules and softgels are manufactured at our GMP, ISO and HACCP certified facility in Mārupe, Latvia — in the European Union. Production complies with EU regulations including Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 on food hygiene, (EU) No 1169/2011 on food information to consumers, and (EC) No 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims.

What is the difference between gelatin and vegan HPMC capsules, and do you offer both?

Gelatin capsules are derived from animal collagen and are the standard choice for most formulations, while vegan HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) capsules are plant-based and suitable for vegetarian and vegan products. We offer hard capsules in both gelatin and HPMC in sizes #1, #0, and #00.

Do you apply a coating to tablets, and what does it do?

Yes — all tablets receive a pharmaceutical-grade coating after pressing and de-dusting. The coating is applied using a specialised coating machine with automatically controlled temperature, spray pressure, and speed. It makes tablets stronger, more moisture-resistant, and easier to swallow.

Can I order a custom formula, or do I have to choose from ready-made products?

Both options are available. We have 350 ready-made formulas — tablets, capsules and softgels — available from stock from 150 units. If you have your own formulation, our in-house R&D team of pharmacists, biochemists and nutritionists can develop and validate it for production.

What tablet sizes and softgel sizes do you produce?

We press tablets in eight sizes: round 7.5 mm, 9 mm, 11 mm, and 13 mm, and oval 16×8 mm, 18×9 mm, 20×9.5 mm, and 22×10 mm. For soft gelatin capsules we currently produce oval sizes #3, #8, #10, and #20, all suited to oil-based formulations such as omega-3 or vitamin D3 softgels.

What certifications does your tablet and capsule manufacturing hold?

GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP and ISO 22000, and the facility is registered with the US FDA. Every batch is laboratory tested and released with a Certificate of Analysis. Scans of the certificates are on our manufacturing page.

What is the minimum order quantity for private label tablets or capsules?

From 150 units for a ready-made formula, with a lead time from four weeks. That is deliberately low: it lets a new brand test a product on the shelf before committing to stock. A formula developed from scratch starts higher, because the development and the validation batch are paid for once. Send us the product and the packaging and we will confirm both figures within 24 hours.
