Packing for food supplements private label

Pharma Manufacture has a wide range of packaging options for tablets, capsules, effervescent tablets, powders packing. We provide Private Label branding (with your Brand) for all types of food supplements we manufacture.

Packing types for food supplements: 1) Tablets: PET and Glass Bottles, Blisters with Carton, Zip-lock bags 2) Capsules: Bottles, Blisters, Zip-lock bags 3) Powders: Jars, Zip-lock bags 4) Effervescent tablets: Plastic Tubes.

All the packing materials has EU Certificate of Conformity and has quality analysis certificate for each batch and are compliant to EU regulations: 1) Regulation (EG) Nr. 1935/2004 2) Regulation (EU) Nr. 10/2011 3) Regulation (EG) Nr. 2023/2006 4) EC 1895/2005 5) EC 94/62/EC 5) EU 2018/213 of February 12th 2018 regarding BPA 6) 85/572EEC as well as Pharmacopoeia Europea 3.2.2 7) The used colour pigment complies with the reference IX of BfR on the use of colorants in materials coming into contact with food.

Furthermore, the materials are in compliance with 1999/82/EEC concerning TSE/BSE and do not come in contact with material of animal origin during manufacturing.

All substances with a SML (Specific Migration Limit) are used / process generated in the packing materials are mentioned in Certificate of Conformity. For packing materials the specific and overall migration tests have been carried out and the result does not exceed EU the restriction.

The list of contaminants and degradation products (NIAS-non intentionally added substances) in packin analysis certificate is based on a 10 ppb Screening with the method GC-FID-MS. If the material contains components which are not listed in the positive list of Regulation EU 10/2011 (e.g. solvents, catalysts, etc) they comply with any national provisions applicable to these materials and articles e.g. the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BFR).

Blisters are formed, filled and sealed on an Uhlmann B 1240 and cartons are closed on an IMA IC 150 — both listed with their technical data on our equipment page.

Sachets

Sachet packing solution

Single-serve sachets for powders: 4 to 12 grams per sachet, 50 to 60 mm wide and 60 to 110 mm tall, in a three-layer laminate of paper, aluminium foil and sealing film. Your brand is printed on the paper layer, so no separate label is applied, and the carton for the course is built around the product.

The format suits hot drink powders, trial packs, courses sold by the day and anything hygroscopic, because each serving meets the air only once. Full details on the sachets page.

Common questions about supplement packaging options

Which packaging format should I choose for tablets and capsules?

Tablets and capsules can be packed in PET or glass bottles, blister packs with printed carton boxes, or zip-lock bags — all supplied finished and labelled under your brand. PET bottles are available in 7 sizes (100–500 ml) and 7 colours; glass bottles come in amber in 60, 100, 200 and 500 ml for oils, syrups and liquids.

What packaging do you use for effervescent tablets?

Effervescent tablets are packed in plastic tubes with moisture-absorbing caps, printed with your brand artwork. This is the standard EU retail format for effervescent supplement sticks and keeps tablets dry throughout shelf life.

Are your packaging materials EU food-contact compliant?

Yes. Every packaging material carries an EU Certificate of Conformity and a quality analysis certificate for each batch, complying with Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, and EU 2018/213 on BPA, among others. Specific and overall migration tests are carried out on all materials and results do not exceed EU limits.

Can I use my own label and brand design on the packaging?

Yes — every format is supplied under your private label. We print your brand artwork directly on bottles, blister cartons, tubes and bags. Our in-house team can also assist with label design to ensure artwork meets EU food information regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.

What PET bottle sizes and colours are available?

We offer PET bottles in 7 sizes — 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400 and 500 ml — and 7 colours: blue, amber, red, clear, cream white, white opaque and green. Closure options are self-glue tamper-evident or induction seal.

What certifications does the facility that packs my product hold?

GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP and ISO 22000, and the facility is registered with the US FDA. All packing materials hold EU Certificates of Conformity. Scans of the certificates are on our manufacturing page.

What packaging is available for sports nutrition powders?

Protein and powder supplements can be packed in round or cylinder jars (with optional dosing scoop) or zip-lock doypacks available in white, silver, transparent and eco materials — all labelled with your brand and manufactured at our GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certified facility in Mārupe, Latvia.
