How long does it take to produce a private label supplement order?

Pharma Manufacture produces a private label order from four weeks, and in about eight weeks for a typical run. The clock starts when the factory has both your confirmed order and your technical brief. Powder sachets take about eight weeks, because the laminate carrying your design is printed before filling begins.

Private label supplements lead time, from order to delivery

The order follows the same steps whatever its size. You request a product or a price list, and we reply within 24 hours. You choose the packing format, the label artwork is prepared and approved, and the product is manufactured and packed under the plant’s quality system; its GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certificates cover tablets, capsules and powders. Before release, a finished batch of tablets, capsules or softgels waits in quarantine until microbiological testing and heavy-metals control clear it.

The last step is delivery to your warehouse anywhere in the EU, or collection from our warehouse in Mārupe, Latvia; delivery terms are agreed per order. The plant is two minutes from Riga International Airport and close to the Freeport of Riga.

What usually delays a first supplement order?

Two things move the date more often than the production run itself: raw material availability and how quickly the artwork is approved. The run and the packing are the predictable part of the window.

Artwork matters most for sachets and effervescent tubes. On a sachet your brand is printed straight onto the laminate roll, and on a tube the tube, cap and label are ordered as one print run, so a late change to the design moves the whole schedule. If you want the shortest route, send final artwork early and name the packaging format in your first message.

Is a repeat order faster than the first one?

Usually, yes. A repeat order of an existing formula in existing packaging is mostly a question of scheduling. A new product carries formula work, label approval, artwork and sometimes raw material lead time on top of the run. A formula developed from scratch adds development and a validation batch before production starts, so plan its launch date around the quote rather than around the four-week figure.

A ready-made formula from the catalogue of 350 skips the development step, and artwork sent early takes the second usual delay out of the schedule.
