Can you manufacture my custom supplement formula as it is?
Yes. Pharma Manufacture produces formulas that customers bring, alongside its catalogue of 350 ready-made ones, and for a formula you already have the first step is a formula calculation that checks whether it can be produced in the form you want. Your own formula starts at a higher minimum order than a ready-made one, because development and the validation batch are paid for once.
What you need to send is short: the ingredients with the dose per serving, the form, the market and a rough quantity. The table shows who does what from there.

What do you need from me to quote my own formula?
Five things: the active ingredients with the dose per serving, the form, the country or region where you will sell, the packaging and whether your label exists yet, and a quantity range. Finished specifications are not needed to start, and an estimate of quantity is enough to check it against the minimum for your form.
Name the market even if it is only a region. A dose that sits well for one country can need adjusting for another, and that is cheaper to learn before artwork goes to print. Our guide to what a manufacturer needs to quote a first order goes through each item.
Will my formula be produced exactly as written?
When the doses fit the rules of your market, the ingredients are permitted there and the fill fits the form, yes. The formula calculation is where a mismatch shows up. A capsule blend has to fit one of the capsule sizes we fill: #1, #0 and #00 in gelatine or vegan HPMC on the tablets page, and the capsule filler itself takes sizes 5 to 00EL plus 000 and DB. A tablet has to fit one of eight sizes, round from 7.5 to 13 mm or oval from 16 × 8 to 22 × 10 mm.
If a daily dose does not fit one unit, the choice is between a larger size, two units per serving or another form. That choice stays with you, and each option is priced separately.
Why does a custom formula start at a higher minimum?
A ready-made formula from the catalogue already has its recipe, its sourcing and its paperwork. A new formula needs development and a validation batch first, and both are paid for once, on the first order. A repeat order of the same formula no longer carries that step. Send the formula and the packaging and we confirm the minimum and the lead time within 24 hours.

Common questions about custom formula manufacturing
Do I need a finished formula before I contact you?
No. Pharma Manufacture’s R&D team of pharmacists, biochemists, dieticians and nutritionists works through ingredients and doses with you, so a concept with a direction for the actives is enough to start.
Can you adjust one of your ready-made formulas instead?
Yes. An adapted formula follows the same route as a custom one: the change is calculated and validated before production, as it would be for a formula built from scratch.
In which forms can a custom formula be made?
Tablets, hard capsules in gelatine or HPMC, softgels, effervescent tablets in tubes, drink cubes, powder sachets, drops, syrups, shots and sports nutrition powders. The formula calculation tells you which of them suit your ingredients and dose.
Who is responsible for the claims on my label?
The brand whose name is on the pack. In the EU that business places the product on the market and carries the obligations under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 and Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006, even when our designer prepares the artwork.
How quickly do I hear back after sending my formula?
Pharma Manufacture replies within 24 hours, either with the first figures or with a question about a detail the formula leaves open, such as the target market or the pack size.
